Thanks

It's about one hour away from Thanksgiving for me. I was kinda writing my nanowrimo (36,607 words) when I thought about updating my lj. So here I am. Those friends of mine that read this...I wish you the very best of days tomorrow. I hope you are healthy, safe, happy and surrounded by those you love. Tomorrow means movie day for me. I think I'll get three in: Chicken Little, Pride & Prejudice, Walk The Line. I am going to put something in my crockpot in the morning before I head out. That way when I get home with a stomach ache from too much popcorn I can eat some real food. It should be great fun.

You know, there was a time in my life when we lived in a car. There was a time when we ate at shelters. There was a time when we had no idea where my mom was or if she was alive. There was a time when we didn't know if we would get dinner or not. I came home tonight and cut a grapefruit open and looked around my kitchen in my house...WOW! I am so blessed. I love my family. I love my friends. I am so very thankful.
